Valentine’s Day Rewind: “T-A-C-O” Spells “L-O-V-E”

Taco Bell may not be the typical hotspot for Valentine’s Day dining, but we sure made it one this year at our Quarry Taco Bell in New Brighton, MN (1540 Stinson Boulevard NE)!

On the eve of February 14, despite record rainfall in the Twin Cities, Border Foods showed the community a little extra“love” with a 70s-inspired “Peace Love & Tacos” Valentine’s Day event.

Reaching taco lovers via all of our social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, we lured guests into the restaurant with a special Timberwolves tickets + $50 Visa gift card giftaway and “free taco” coupons!

With extra staffing in place, excitement was in the air. Curious guests — some donning their own mod fashion (furs, sunglasses, retro tees) — were greeted with the chance to take professional photos against our custom-made retro backdrop. And of course, we’ve always got job applications at the ready. How’s that for love language?

To our Stinson Team, we are so proud of your efforts and hope you enjoyed being part of a this taco power event!

Thank you to local media who gave us a “special shout out”: KARE11, Mpls.St.Paul Magazine, Racket and WCCO 830 News Talk Radio.
