We take our company promise — to Make Lives Better — seriously. That’s why we’re so excited to introduce the Border Foods Vacation Donation program.
This new benefit allows Border Foods team members who are experiencing catastrophic life events to be eligible to receive donated vacation hours from their co-workers.
Team members who are ready to be part of this movement can simply complete our new Vacation Donation Contribution form. Each donation will go into a virtual “vacation donation bank.” When team members in need meet the eligibility criteria for donated hours, they’ll be granted hours to use for personal time off.
“This program directly speaks to our family culture at Border Foods,” says CPO Craig Heide. “We want to take care of our team members in every way we can. When someone in our Border family is experiencing a catastrophic event, now folks can support him or her in this unique way.”
We can all use a helping hand when life gets hard. With generosity from our own team, we can support each other and truly continue our work to make lives better.
