By now you know: Border Foods is full of opportunity. But what kind, exactly? To answer the question for our team members, our Human Resources Business Partners have been traveling Border’s markets, hosting a new event called Grow Your Career Day. Corrine Kindred, an HRBP, says:

At Border, 48% of our management promotions are from within. We’re a growth organization and the leadership potential in our restaurants is abundant. Through Grow Your Career day (a free event for all interested), team members get to know the career ladder, understand what it takes to reach the next milestone, and enjoy camaraderie, free snacks and fun.
“We teach the career paths, share the benefits around each position, and discuss personal brand with everyone that attends,” Corrine says.
“We need crew trainers, shift leads, assistant general managers, restaurant general managers, and beyond. Who knows, our next COO is out there working for us right now!” Corrine says.
