Introducing the 2021 Carol Williams Scholarship Award Recipients!

The Carol Williams Scholarship Award was created in in 2018 after Carol, our late Vice President of Operations, passed away. Known as one of the greatest Taco Bell operators of all time, Carol Williams got her start at Border Foods in the late 1990s. She was responsible for the foundation in which our company sits on today, and she’s the founder of our deeply rooted family culture. When Carol passed away in 2018, she left a profound legacy behind. Her passion for people, operations and great service will live on in the Heart of Border Foods Award and this scholarship program.

So, it’s with great joy that we awarded more than $30,000 in Carol Williams Scholarship Awards this year! In order to make the scholarship award extra special, we visited each recipient and surprised them with a giant check! Winners include:
