At Border Foods, tenure means everything to us. We work hard to provide opportunities and a successful career path to anyone who’s willing to put in the hard work. In turn, we’re honored to have so many team members who have been part of our family for decades. We caught up with Vivian Fields, a team member in Beloit, WI, who just celebrated her 40th year with the brand.
Congrats on your anniversary! Tell us why you’ve stayed with the brand for so long.
I have stayed with the brand so long because I have had the honor of working with so many great people who truly care about others. I like the fast-paced environment. I enjoy the customer and employee interactions I receive every day.
What’s your one piece of advice to other Border Foods team members looking to make a career out of their job with us?
Always come to work with a positive attitude. Get involved in helping and achieving your store’s goals. There are always advancement opportunities here. Your pay can be lucrative when results are obtained.
What’s the greatest lesson you’ve learned through your work/experience with Taco Bell?
The greatest lesson I have learned throughout my tenure here is to take care of your employees because they are our greatest asset. Success evolves around them.
