Continuing its month-long celebration of GMs and AGMs (and their families), Border Foods hosted guests from restaurants in Sioux Falls and the surrounding area at Thunder Road family fun park on August 24.
With fun inside and out, the amusement park had laser tag, go karts, batting cages, bowling, mini golf and some cool rides. General Manager Nicole Zaft said she got to ride on the Tilt-a-Whirl with her boss (who wasn’t excited).
“It’s just really nice to spend to spend time together with people that you don’t see every day,” Nicole says. She says it was enjoyable, but also relaxing!
Though Nicole has been with Border Foods since 2015, the value of these events still has impact. She believes that in bringing managers together for Family Fun Days, it makes it more meaningful when she and others are called in to support neighboring locations later.
