When we say we do more than make tacos, we mean it. This month we celebrated two special team members who received their GEDs. Zachary Meents, Shift Leader, at Machesney Park, completed his GED and graduated from High School. According to Area Coach Kelly Lawver, it’s been a fantastic journey for Zach and he’s so proud and excited to earn this accomplishment.
Zachary has been with the Border Foods Family since June 2018 and he was promoted to Shift Leader the following October.
“The story continues to get more exciting,” Kelly said. “Zachary will be going into Assistant General Manager training next week! We’re looking forward to watching Zachary continuing to grow his career with us.”
In addition to Zach’s achievement, leaders had a surprise graduation party for Brittany Edens, a team member at our Fremont location. She successfully completed her GED testing.
“It was so much fun to be able to surprise her and have her family there,” Area Coach Hanna Wright said.
