Border Foods is proud to be a company that values fun, family and most of all, celebrating those who dedicate many hours to running our restaurants. Annual Family Fun Day events are one of our favorite ways to give back to an incredible group of managers and the families that support them.
On July 13, we hosted Minnesota AGMs and RGMs (and their families) at Valleyfair amusement park. With a jaw-dropping 800 in attendance, it was a fun-filled day with a scavenger hunt, tons of rides and lunch together. Some say seeing all of the kids, who arrive every year a year older than the last, is part of the fun.
Equally memorable is the surprise announcement of Border Foods’ and Carol Williams scholarship winners. This year’s deserving, yet unsuspecting, recipients were:
- Lauren Servais (Carol Williams Scholarship; Nicollet)
- Serafin Patino (Border Foods Scholarship; Northfield)
- Manuel Ramirez-Lopez (Carol Williams Scholarship; Hudson WI)
