It’s another one for the books! This week’s fourth annual Swinging for Scholarships charity golf tournament was met with beautiful fall weather and generosity that can’t be beat. Together, we raised a record-breaking $150,000 in scholarship funds – a number that’s expected to rise!
Among the event highlights, we celebrated a couple of incredible firsts this year. To start, player registration sold out for the first time ever! Secondly, VIPs from the brand traveled to support our cause: Taco Bell President Meghan Farren and COO Michelle Beasley, as well as Taco Bell Foundation’s Morgan Tabor and Brittany Bachmann. We’re touched by their support, as well as that of our many event sponsors and vendor partners.
Every single dollar raised at Swinging for Scholarships helps fund our Carol Williams Scholarship by Border Foods program, which makes a meaningful difference in the lives of student team members throughout our company. Read repeat recipient Quinn Ohlemacher-Lonetti (O-L)’s story for proof!
