Sherry knew that my husband and I were putting my elderly dog down and that it would be a really difficult time for us. Sherry reached out and offered to take one of my shifts so I could have some extra time to grieve. Getting extra time off as a manager has been difficult in our store due to management shortages, so for Sherry to be so thoughtful and willing to take on the additional day meant a lot to me.
