At Border Foods, we believe in helping our people go far. That’s why, for years, we’ve invested in the academic dreams of our team members through the Carol Williams Scholarship by Border Foods.
This scholarship has made a meaningful difference for students like our own Service Champion Kaleb Teshome and Team Trainer Quinn Ohlemacher-Lonetti, who’ve both received financial support from us as they pursue their education.
Investing in Our Team Members
For Kaleb, our scholarship has helped make his academic goals more attainable while reminding him that he has a community behind him.
“Besides helping me fund my academics … it kind of gives me motivation to just keep pursuing, just knowing that there’s people around me [who] believe in what I’m doing at the university,” he shares.
Quinn has also seen the lasting impact of Border Foods’ investment. Through the Carol Williams Scholarship and other scholarship sources, he’s accumulated more than $43,500 in support over the years!

Swinging for Scholarships
The Carol Williams Scholarship is made possible in large part through our annual Swinging for Scholarships charity golf tournament. In its fourth year, our popular fundraiser returns September 22 to help create more opportunities for hardworking students throughout our business.
Every scholarship represents more than financial support. It’s a reminder to our team members that their goals matter to us and that their family at Border Foods is cheering them on.
